Rain puzzles and puzzles reign
when friend and foe come round again.

Sam, Becky, and their friends Troy, Andrew, and L.C. are doing their best to help the ghost of Stede Bonnet claim his “greatest treasure” before Blackbeard finds it.

When the latest clue points them to the Smith Island Museum beside “Old Baldy,” the hunt moves to Bald Head Island at the corner of North Carolina’s Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean.

The only problem? It’s Pirate Days on Bald Head, and everyone is...well, everyone is dressed like a pirate. Troy, Andrew, Sam, and Becky can’t always tell who’s wearing a costume and who’s a real pirate.
